Paver pool deck stripped back to bare stone before re-sealing
SPECIALTY SERVICE · STRIPPING

Paver Stripping Cape Coral

Failed, cloudy or peeling sealer chemically stripped down to bare stone — the reset your pavers need before they can be sealed right.

STRIPPING

Why strip old sealer?

Sealer applied too thick, over moisture, or simply worn out turns white, hazy and plastic-looking. New sealer over the top only traps the problem.

We strip the failed coating completely, let the surface breathe, then re-sand and re-seal on a clean base — so the new finish cures clear and lasts.

  • Haze & whitening gone

The cloudy, milky film removed for good.

  • Clean bare stone

Back to the paver's true surface and color.

  • Right chemistry

Strippers matched to your old coating — safe for pavers.

  • Ready to re-seal

A sound base so the new sealer cures clear.

THE PROCESS

Every stripping job includes

01

Test spot

We identify the old coating and prove out the right stripper on a small area first.

02

Strip & neutralize

Failed sealer removed completely, then the surface neutralized and rinsed clean.

03

Re-sand & re-seal

Fresh joint sand and — when you're ready — a proper new seal on a clean base.

KNOW THE SIGNS

When stripping is the answer

CLASSIC SIGN

White haze

Milky, cloudy film across the surface — moisture trapped under old sealer.

Peeling flakes

Sealer lifting off in patches or flakes underfoot.

Blotchy patches

Uneven dark and light areas where coats built up or failed.

Paver stripping questions

Why did my sealer turn white?+

Usually moisture trapped beneath a coat applied too soon after rain, or too many built-up layers. Stripping is the only real fix.

Can you just seal over the old sealer?+

If the old coat is failing, no — new sealer traps the haze and peels with it. Stripping first is what makes the re-seal last.

Is stripping safe for pavers?+

Yes — we match the stripper to the coating, test first, and neutralize the surface after. The stone comes through clean.

How soon can you re-seal after stripping?+

Once the surface is fully dry — typically a few days of Florida sun. We schedule the re-seal as part of the same job.
